Malibu Pier

The 112 year old historic wooden pier in Malibu was heavily damaged when waves from hurricane Marie broke pilings and destroyed the boarding gangway. Cushman mobilized our 30 ton lattice boom crane and replaced 59 pilings and installed a new gangway which will facilitate naval visits, sport fishing and yacht mooring. The project also included fiberglass wrapping of piling above and below the water as well as concrete collars installed on pilings in the surf zone.
